... perfect. There are many Christmas markets doing a roaring trade, my favs were the ones selling punche and local cuisine like bratwurst, sauerkraut and apple strudel. The main market near the river had a Christmas tree made from Swarovski crystals!

... to get back up after falling over. We then went up the moving strip (where I had earlier fell off) and down the baby slope. It was fast and fun and we had to dodge children on toboggans who had no sense of direction. There were times when I could mauver around the poles like a pro and times when I just had to pull them out as I was going to mow them down haha.

By the end of our 2 hour lesson my legs were burning - a great 2 hour leg session I'd say! ...

... and I paid €31 for hire of economy boots, skis and poles. It does work out quite expensive, but it's certainly well worth it, just make sure you get there early as it does get very busy!

If you stay in Innsbruck it's certainly a good idea to rent a car as it gives you much more freedom. Innsbruck is extremely close to the Italian and German borders, so there's the opportunity to go to places like Munich with ease. It is also a great idea to drive into ...
