Great little inn. Owners were very helpful and charming. We had the Garden Suite, huge room, with a separate living room, small bathroom, and kitchenette. Great deal, and great location.

It was approximately 400 "extra" miles, but at this point that did t seem like a big deal After about 2 hour of small, narrow road driving, mostly behind oil carrying big rigs, I decided I've had enough of the desert and it was time to head east. I changed direction and headed toward Arkansas. After a night in Eastland Texas, I sped a good portion of the day finishing my drive to Hot Springs NP. ...

We had an early dinner -- linner? dunch? -- at the Bleu Monkey Grill next door to our motel (shrimp tacos for me, ...

... a steady progression of motorcycles and occasional hot rods parade up and down the main drag. The noise level, both inside the tasting room and out was quite "impressive" though hardly relaxing. So Patty decide to take the waters -- whirlpool bath, steam, needle shower, and massage -- the full package. I took to the trails on Hot Springs Mountain. She came out relaxed and rosy; I returned a little sweaty (but pleased ...

... Rob felt like he was holding on to a bronco. Luckily we did not have far to go. Arrived in Hot Springs Arkansas 5:00. Beautiful RVPark. Would love to return. Might not have time to go into town as we have no extra time ( misjudged the number of miles to Nashville). Maybe Rachael won't mind if we arrive later tomorrow. I really wanted to see this place. Wish me ...

We left Little Rock early in the morning (5 am) and attempted to head to Pinnacle Mountain to see the sunrise. Unfortunately the park didn't open until 6:30 so we opted not to wait. While mom and I were upset to miss what we have heard is a fantastic sunrise view, but ...
