... round the corner to the cafe next to Bar 37 (can't remember name) for an afternoon of beers and tasty lunch of bolognaise and Wiener schnitzel. We sat under parasols in the pouring rain, chatting about this n that and then reading Austria's history through the Lonely Planet Guide. What an afternoon! Hard to believe this place is apparently "Ibiza-esque" in ski season according to Lonely Planet!! We called it a day about half 3 and headed back to the ...

We then used the motorway to head North East passed Brixen then onto Sterzing.before leaving Itally via the 2474 meter, Timmelsjoch Pass. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timmels joch This pass was first planned in 1859 however it was not completed and opened to traffic until 1967. ... like that again in order to just leave.....! As the afternoon wore on, we managed to chill, get some perspective and take in just where we were. We talked about the next drive and how we might work things going forward and decided Austria is going to be awesome.... Just look around! We agreed we won't go for any "scenic" routes as it's just not enjoyable for either of us. But we won't miss out on main roads. We get mega scenery from the highways and the ...
