... shooting practice was scheduled the next morning, ate our risotto and a whole chicken and went to bed.
The ground was uneven and I think we both dreamt of drunken hunters finding a tent behind their range...not the worst night, but definitely not the best.
The start was early the next morning and we had breakfast in front of a public pool. Mini Ciabatta, swiss brie and dry sausage from the mountains. ...

Arrived in St Moritz in drizzling rain and enjoyed our end of tour get-together: dinner, speeches, awards and appreciation gifts. We have another day and evening together before our WA contingent head off to Milan and the rest of us to Munich via St ...

On 9/26 we again deviated from our original plans in order to travel back Guarda to see the festivities involved in bringing the cows down to lower pastures for the winter. Before the parade we heard two men playing alpenhorns for the waiting crowd. Horses led the parade of decorated cows down through the main street of town. The cow who had ...

He invited me to help him out, so here I am in my travel clothes working hard to ensure that someone in one year (the aging time of the cheese we were making) will taste the best cheese ever. The process of making four forms of cheese took about an ...
