- The country of Liechtenstein is so small that in 2007, Swiss troops accidentally invaded it after getting lost in a rainstorm.
- Our place has a fallout shelter (below), and if you don't have one they charge you a penalty tax. The country has enough of these shelters to accommodate 8.7 million people.

... one off bathroom. We had fresh snow on the surrounding mountains overnight from a storm. After a nice brekkie we did a walk parallel with the river on Via Milano to a little town called Premadio. We kept going and after walking up to 1280m then decended back to the main township. We decided to drive the Passo Gavia during a light snow fall on top of the pass at 2652m. ... peaks, Gotschnagrat and Gatschiefespitz, as well as the valley below and the surrounding chalets. We arrived yesterday, had lunch at Fellini (I had fish from the lake) and then went for a swim at the Badi. I am having a wonderful time with the grandchildren and learned to play a new 'speedier' version of Monopoly, called Monopoly Empire.
Another change of plan today as the walk we were going to do yesterday - Sesvenna Hutte Walk - is now open today. It would appear that the Sesvennahutte did not open until today and they are responsible for maintaining the area. So it is back to the gondola which we take up to 2553m before traversing a high ridge above the Schlinige Valley where we'll be less than 2km from the Swiss border and we will be able to see both the Swiss ...
