... In the pictures you can see the mule driver who was found next to his mule under the ash. It's impossible to describe everything and is an absolute must see for anyone travelling to Italy that has even the smallest liking in history or architecture. BTW next time we watch time team we are going to be all over the different parts and layout of Roman bath houses between 200BC and 100AD lol. We were pretty buggered after ...

Great walk with many steep stairs and once we reached the top, we could see the entire city, the sea and many miles all around, even ...

We boarded our bus - which, much to Matthew's delight had a built-in espresso maker - at 8:15 am, and we were on our way (unfortunately we didn't get to use the espresso maker). We had a slight detour en route, as our desired Autostrada o-onramp was closed today due to the recent discovery and in-progress removal of a WWII bomb. We arrived ...

    ... have left with 56!)

Today we said goodbye to the Sopers and caught the 8.27am train to Napes, arriving at 10.50am. There was then a very bumpy walk and wheel of bags (not only cobblestones but cobblestones with pot holes and repair patches) to our 'room and breakfast' at Be House. First impressions have been really good. Our room was ready when we arrived at 11.30 which meant we didn't ...
