... was the place I was recommended to try them. I was very spoilt in the fact that the hotel I stayed at served sfogliatella calde (hot sfogliatella) every morning, but I also tried one from a pasticceria to compare and it was even better. Sfogliatella is a shell shaped pastry filled with ricotta cheese and candied orange peel, and is so delicious I think I started a slight addiction to them.

... Sorrento. The delightful thing about Positano was that there seemed to be, even though it has all this press about being so picturesque, hardly any visitors. On the way back thankfully we all had seats which made it so much easier.

We spent about 90 minutes looking through Sorrento and doing a little shopping. And then the train back to Naples. Quite a bit of travelling but well worth it for the destination.

... the hotel is very nice. We checked in and then went for a walk to find a famous Neapolitan Pizzeria for an army supper. After supper we strolled the Via Partenope and concluded with a glass of wine in our room. The weather today was around 18 degrees and sunny.

... of the underground rooms of the theatre. It's completely dark, of course because it's underground, but I can just imagine Dracula coming up from the tunnels and into my window (which is 3ft tall x 2ft wide and does open into this room underneath).
