... very entertained. We then had lunch on the island of Murnao before headed back on a boat to the mainland. After a rest, and both of us popping downstairs to have a coffee in peace separately, we went out for a walk and had a ride in a Gondola through the small canals. Sailing distance Dubrovnik to Venice Italy - 312 nautical miles. Departed Dubrovnik 2pm Saturday 31st May - Arrived Venice 8am Sunday 1st June. Bags were packed and we were ready to go. It was such a steep long trek a group of dogs came with us and led the way all the way up the mountain! ... This country of only 0.44 sq km is made up of 800 residents who have day jobs like, the pope, priests, nuns, swiss guards in clown suits and high-ranking dignitaries.

At 4am tomorrow we begin the long, long journey by train and a 21hr ferry to Greece. It's worth every minute as at the otherside we will be greeted by the lovely Jenny and Uwe.
We have to end our week long stay in Italy as we have eaten far, far too much Italian pizza, pasta, gelato ...

Up early to travel to Venice. Entertaining breakfast with the owners son very dry sense of humour. We bought supplies for the train trip and waited for the mini bus. The owner of the hotel was happy to be a proxy " George Clooney" for a photo moment lol. Bus to train 1 1/2 hours train to Venice 2 1/2 hours. The trains are so smooth it's s great way to travel.
