While there are definitely lots of things to do in Venice, there are equally as many tourists flocking to the major sights and the small streets are packed with people. Without much time here we set out in the morning to the Piazza San Marco where we saw the San Marco Basilica and Doge's Palace. On the first leg to Milan we had a nice couple from Sydney to chat to which was nice. The scenery was incredible as we travelled through the Swiss Alps. What amazed us however was the amount of homes high up in the mountains. How they get there is a mystery. Maybe ...

... there to do something special for your lover**** On exploring we finally came to our favourite place - "Campiello del Remer". This place bursts with flavour. Gloomy yet splendidly suave, it's a perfect place to come for a nice drink with some delicious nibbles on the side. But the one thing I'm glad of is that we arrived there dead on 5:30pm when aperitivo begins - if you arrive later you are boned to think you'll be getting a space to sit and eat. THAT FOOD IS GONE!!! ...
