Venice is Better in Real Life
... really. We are leaving for Rome tomorrow and we have booked out deluxe cabins which are like fancy self contained flats and for only 22 euros each! To put that in perspective i pay just over 30 euros for my dormitory in Paris. per night of course. i liked the break from massive land masses with no water anywhere.
I'm going to spend too much in Rome i reckon, ill be constantly be bound the the saying "When in Rome"

... of secondhand peddlers, they were able to hire the finest architects to construct their synagogues. The remaining population of Venetian Jews today is about 450 and they're a mixture of Sephardim and Ashkenazim, but they all pray in the old Sephardic synagogues. I really enjoyed learning more about the Venetian Ghetto on the tour and in the museum. I'm really getting a well-rounded picture of the Jews of Europe on this trip.
