The "Venice" that we all know and love is not part of the mainland nor is it built on reclaimed land. It is actually built onto 118 small islands that are all linked together by bridges. ... in Venice. Then you get the ones made in China. These are generally easy to spot and (un-racistly so) are generally sold in shops run by Indian/Pakistanis. We steered clear of these "good price for you". We walked across the Rialto Bridge and marvelled at the many market stalls lining the sides. ... was just outside Innsbruck but first we stopped there
for a couple of hours. It has heaps of the right sort of
character, although very wet. It has been home for the winter
