... a really well-stocked grocery, close to our apt. So, we are able to get what we need to have meals in our apt. The grocery shopping does Jackie in, so she heads back to the apt. And I head off to find lunch. I try out a place in St. Margaretha's Sq. They have wifi, but the food is only OK and it's a bit pricey. After lunch, I wander around. So it was just Sandy and I in this plush private water taxi with leather seats etc on a cruise through the canals of Venice and then a fast plough through the choppy open waters to the island of Murano. The trip took about half an hour.

... we were armed with a city map and GPS tracking, we managed to take more than a couple of wrong turns but I suppose that is half the charm of the city - getting lost in Venice!
