          ... were taken through their display rooms with the hundreds of chandaliers and other glass ornaments. There were whole musical instruments made from glass (e.g. saxophones, guitars, clarinet etc). Every item was worth a fortune, however very clever.           ... again we realized we live on Calle dei Saoneri and not Calle de la Saoneria…Eventually we stumbled upon Calle Seconda dei Saoneri and reasoned that the second street with the same name should be next to the first one…we were right. Amazingly enough I opened both doors on the first try and the 62 stairs up to the loft were never so appreciated.

          ... as flash as the last place. The air con unit took 15 minutes before blowing hot air, and the hot water was switched off and only fixed the next day.

          We all met up at the bar/restaurant for a group dinner and
          had beef lasagne which was pretty good (but not as good as mums). An amazing
          lemon cake for dessert, which was so good I had to help out my friend and eat

          I walked over to the San Marco waterbus stop and took it back to the apartment.
