I worked today for half the day. The Grade Five classes graduated today. It was a nice feeling to see a group of boys I taught last year graduating from the PYP (Grade Five) and moving on, next year, to the MYP (Grade Six). It feels good to know I had a part in their success. Fuel for my fire.

... the largest and 2nd best preserved ruin in Petra. Walking down we stopped and bought tea from a Bedouin woman along the side of the path, and sat and talked with her for awhile. Later we took another donkey ride up to a viewpoint that looked down on the Treasury, was a spectacular sight to see as the sun began to set. We had made friends with a couple of the local Bedouin, so the next day they toured us through the Petra that most tourists would not see. ...

... explained to us that our bodies do not have any kind of immunity to the viruses over here and so they affect us much worse than if we were at home. The hard part is that none of us recognise any of the symptoms here until its too late, because even those are different here.
