Visiting Barrow, Alaska was a true eye-opening experience. We got to the Fairbanks airport at 6:15 am. There were only a few of us waiting by the gate, so we figured it would be a pretty empty plane. The plane was packed coming in from Anchorage. The plane also stops at Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse and was full of oil workers commuting back to work.

I didn't have a good sleep with thinking about things such as getting a rental car, so many places were sold out or else they were totally exorbitant in price. Maybe I will be able to look round Barrow without one. I hadn't thought there would be rental cars in Barrow until I got an email saying that I could get discount off one.
