... pics with fans. Terry isn't fussed about getting the professional picture.....and even ponders if it's the real trophy! Apparently this is the first time it's ever left America....and it comes to Cairns when we're here huh! After our bball morning we get some very cheap pink lady apples at Rusty's food market and meander home for a chilled Sunday. Tomorrow is our last day in the sharehouse and we can't wait to get on the boat to take us out to the Great Barrier Reef!

... flows from the mountains. The crystal clear water is collected high in the mountains to provide the drinking water for Cairns. This area is part of the World Heritage Rainforests north of Cairns. We intend coming back to swim in one of the many pools we saw people swimming in today. This same creek runs parallel to the caravan.

On the way to Atherton we again drove through the Heritage listed Wet Tropical Rainforest. Atherton is on the tablelands ...

... Arrived in Cairns on the Saturday about 11am and managed to secure a great berth in the marina no problems & the rain eased as we tied up thank goodness. Did all the clearing up things & signing in at the marina. Phil & Sue picked us up & took us off for yum char at the casino yummm. Early night as we both crashed strange not to be moving but a full night sleep a bonus.

... going to do the most dangerous water sport! My stomach was in knots! But we set off on the 2hour journey the next morning and I watched the sun come up nervously awaiting my day ahead! :/ We drove through miles of farm land and stopped off at an old pub in Faluga village for a well needed breakfast! We then finished the drive to Tully River where we were greeted with rainforest, torrential rain, crashing waterfalls and rapids when you looked over the cliff ...

... covering the whole town street we decided to jump on the first bus back into the city. Within an hour of arriving in Glebe we were back in Sydney! Wondered round the city again, had a pie and sorted our phones out.

We then headed back to Glebe and parked ourselves in the local park with our books until the sun went down.
