It must be said we did have a fun few hours hitting the groomers boarding together which is what its all about.

The weather was also very nice, sunshine all day and quite cold compared to normal for this time of year in Vancouver (-6). This meant the views from the top of the mountain and lookout on the way up to Cypress were sensational, Vancouver definitely has one of the most stunning outlooks of the cities I've been to.

... because even though I should have crashed by then, it was just such an awesome place! It took me a while to figure out how to turn off the jazz music, but in the meantime I worked out how to operate the TV screen in the bathroom mirror, sorted out what suitable clothing I did have in the suitcase I'd picked up in Winnipeg (not much!) and had a cup of tea. ... amp; ready for action - we'd decided the night before that we would hike up the grouse mountain, halfway up I think we wanted to kill whose ever idea it was :) it was a challenging hike with some rock climbing sections & being overtaken by grand dads hurt just a wee bit hehe! All good thanks to the GPS we loaded up the NORTHERN American maps an it worked so well had a wait at the border of 35 mins and then in to Vancouver.
