After final farewells at breakfast, we waited for our group to be called off the ship. This was the only time I felt things were somewhat chaotic and unorganized by the cruise. We went thru customs and immigration and took a cab back to our hotel. The Cooks followed quickly. We decided to go to Stanley Park for a while and explore. We went to the Vancouver aquarium for a couple of hours, had a really good lunch at a nearby pub ...

After already visiting the local 'Buy Low Foods' store, we had two bright yellow cloth bags which we folded and set off to get stocked up on food for the next couple of days. It's quite a cool supermarket and only about 15min walking from our house. We decided that we ...

After crossing the border back in to Canada it was time to get down to the business of sorting out our lives to once again board a plane and move on to the next part of our adventure. With the count down to the World Cup reaching single digits we had some serious work to do before we could fly away from our North American road trip. Camping gear, clothes, the car, cooking gear. It all had to be cleaned and polished ready ...
