Happy monthiversary to us, it's our 101st 5am freezing shower, been asleep for 4 and a half hours max. Leahs not been to sleep for anywhere near that apparently. Aircon through 4 poster mosquito nets doesn't work so well and I'm STILL wearing my Bintang outfit or I'd maybe have skipped the icy freshness. Last place couldn't turn round our washing in 2 days. Think we'll have to bite the bullet in the next place and invest either some time or some cash in ...

We are worn slam out. Although exhausted, ...

... I bet its even more grim at night when the drug dealers and prostitutes start work.

Back to the hotel for another swim and some drinks. We try to find somewhere to eat as the hotel food is expensive and limited choice. Nothing, unless we take a taxi we are trapped here! Sod it. We decide we can't be bothered with Kuta so some cocktails, beers and overpriced and small hotel meals and bed! Tomorrow we are heading to Padangbai and onto Gili islands and we can't wait!

... about how they built this place. The 'heart of school' which is the main structure that houses the computer lab, the library, the upper school, the arts center, the offices, as well as the place where lunch is served is a massive structure. All of the furniture is built from bamboo, and their 'white boards' are recycled automobile windshields with a piece of white paper fitted behind the glass. The founder of The Green School is this guy named John Hardy who ...
