... was a couple of miles away from the homestay only to find out that the maps were wrong and it was at the opposite end of town.....wounded! But as we had walked down we had passed what looked like some sort of ceremony that was going to be happening so decided to head back that way to find out what was going on and leave the tasty pig for another day. It turned out the ceremony was a Funeral cremation and as we turned back on to the street ot was awash with hundreds ...

... menu , no shoes on your feet ! Dean had some hummus dip and breads , I had a prawn dish , Elly and jack had Caesar salad and meg had nachos ....three chocolate brownies for dessert and dean had pancakes ...plus five waters came to $55 . We have just made it back to our room before a huge thunder storm and rain , the first we have seen since being here . Nice to sleep to ☺️ Heading to Kuta tommorrow , �� going to miss ubud , love it here ...

3am wake up call to head up to the viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan in a jeep with four others. The only good thing about the boat trips was that they included free transfers to your accommodation at either end of the trip. You roll up at the office and they write the name of your hotel on a sticker that you then attach to your chest so everyone knows where you are going and how much of a cheap skate you are. I had heard about a really amazing charity called BARC that rehabilitates Bali street dogs. They had a centre in Ubud you could visit, so of course I wanted to go!
