... a holy site based around water and being outdoors- who could ask for better? There were some intricately carved shrines, with thatched roofs over them within the temple grounds, but the space for worshippers was all out in the open. Because it is an active holy site, we were all, men and women, given sarongs to wrap around our legs, and I put on my rain coat to over my shoulders and arms.
