... along the main road next to the Nha Trang beach. It was a beautiful clear, sunny day meaning that the visibility of the surrounding islands was excellent. Our first stop was a fishing village just outside Nha Trang, we were the only tourists there and witnessed a huge, bright blue trawler boat unloading it's latest haul with the assistance of the fishermen's wives. ... it was more like 5m high and landing flat on my back in the water certainly took the wind out of me! The tour leaders set up camp fires and prepared lunch for us, sandwiches and fruit so I was happy! We also chucked ourselves down some natural rock slides in the river, scary but a real thrill! And jumping into deeper waters from 11m high rock faces. This seemed extremely high and it's fair to say I don't think I'll take up platform diving! ...
