... I worked to control my buoyancy with my breathing. Perfect buoyancy decreases air consumption and helps you position yourself in the water. ... we left Ubud yesterday for a 30km ride to the ferry at Padangbai. It was a bit of a tedious and incredibly slow 4-hr ferry ride, sitting on horribly uncomfortable, plastic covered seats. Thank goodness for the invention of the Kindle. We arrived at Lombok in the early afternoon, and then had another 33km journey to Senggigi.
