I guess so many people over the years hear about great remote places to dive and relax and have nice time that they eventually become huge destinations and are over ridden with bars and loud parties et all. But again I didn’t mind, Gili T Was amazing, I just think maybe next time ...

      Climbing Mt Rinjani

... wind had kicked in and it was freezing. The guides came round with a big plate of fried rice each and soon after we crashed out completely exhausted. We didn't get much sleep with a cm thin mattress, no pillow and howling wind outside. At one point it seemed like the entire tent was going to blow away! 2.30am came, the agreed time to leave for the summit and there was no need to be woken up. Head torches on we began the 3 hour scramble to the summit for the sunrise. It ...
