... a beach you'd want to lay on, it nevertheless was a great place to people watch as the locals came down to the beach after work, the ice cream salesman on their bicycles, the sheer over excitement if one person got knocked over by a wave and got their sari wet. He took us to an expensive part... mainly because Rickshaw drivers get a cut of what you pay the hotel! We jumped out of the rickshaw ...

... and got you in with the local crowd and served the best food! I discovered the tasty Puri here – a round hollow puff thing that i think is deep fried until it expands and then it flattens again when it cools and you put stuff on top and eat it! Yummy! Not weight loss happening here!

Evenings were also kept cheap as our hotel had a tv with a movie channel that was a lot of fun after having roughed it for so long!
