... again. She needed extra pages to be inserted into her passport, but the American embassy in Rabat does not do that - she had to apply to the American consulate in Casablanca. We drove all afternoon, and it started to rain heavily. We were on our way to Todra Gorge, but at Azrou had to stop as the road ahead was blocked by snow. ... We have had some great experiences in Morocco and will leave with many fond memories. My next blog will be after Tuesday when we begin our Globus tour in Spain in a big bus. I managed to catch a bus almost immediately to Essaouira and met an American woman called Leslie on the bus. She was living in Rabat at the time, learning Aarabic, but was taking a few days out to chill in Ess'a, before going on to a 2-wk Exodus trip, trekking all around the High Atlas. It made sense for us to share a room, thereby halving the cost it would have been otherwise.

... downhill, trying to keep my eyes on the path but continually looking up to the majesty of the mountains on either side. Oh, it was beautiful. Crisp air, warm sun, and no pain in my foot. Very pleased about that!
