This was an allocated rest day. Even Aunty Ton was a little tired so we thought we would just have a quiet day. We slept in until 7.30am and then headed down to the hotel courtyard for breakfast. ... a few doors away for 5 nights. We had many drinks together on the balcony & a couple of meals out together in town (booked a babysitter one evening and joined the young & carefree at Carpe Diem). One day we took a water taxi to the Paklenki islands & hired chairs & bean bags on the beach while the boys ordered mojitos. Unfortunately before the massages began our day was cut short with a big storm & a very wet ride home.

At the end of our meal we got talking to the couple next to us (the tables were quite cosy) and got on like a house of fire with them. They were from Sweden and their names were Ida and Christian and were a beautiful couple very in love and a great laugh! 5. Jupiter's Temple / St. John's Baptistery - This was the final stop in the walls of the palace. This is where the statue of St. John the Baptist is located. Created by the famous sculptor, Ivan Mestrovic.

6. We left the palace through the Golden Gate, which is the best i think. It was the entry to the palace. Right outside there is a big statute by Ivan Mestovic; Bishop Gregory of Nin. A 10th century Croatian priest ...
