Pan Pacific

Cebu Pacific out of Singapore on Christmas Night after our champagne brunch at the Ritz Carlton. Depart 0040 and arrive Manila at 0405. We stay at the pan Pacific for 1/2 day - they ahve a day use rate which is about 60% of the regular 1 night rate.

Finally arrived in Singapore - hot and humid!! Hotel awesome, very swish and posh, lifts on outside inside hotel, fantastic views !!

這一個行程是今年的重頭戲﹐早在十二月已經機票酒店全部準備就緒。因為我在加航有龐大的積分可供使用﹐所以行程中絕大部份的大長途機票都是不用付費的﹐而且是商務客位﹐認真爽死了。這個行程亦打破的了我自己旅行最遠的紀錄﹐日數亦最長﹐長達十天。整個行程環繞整個太平洋一圈﹐總飛行里數接近四萬公里﹐使用四間不同航空公司分九段航程接力進行。現在讓大家看看我的旅行日誌。我今次是一邊玩一邊寫日誌﹐務求即時將最新鮮的記憶打出來。 十五號晚從歐洲風塵僕僕的返抵國門﹐十九日下午便再次離開加拿大﹐登上加航的空中巴士往西飛。因為風向關係這一段航程居然需要五個半小時﹐於美西時間傍晚時份到達洛彬磯﹐由兩位當地的朋友在機場迎接。我在洛杉磯的兩個半小時過境停留﹐很感謝你們專程到機場來看看我和我飲個下午茶。三年多沒有見面﹐別來無恙。旋風式的見面過後便再度登機﹐這次是紐西蘭航空公司的747珍寶客機﹐由洛彬磯橫渡東南太平洋和國際子午線直航紐西蘭南島的教堂城Christchurch。這是紐航現時最長的國際航線﹐需時十三小時三十分鐘。我的座位在二樓的商務客艙﹐四十二個座位但只有七名乘客﹐真係舒服到極點。第一次在飛機上有如此充足的睡眠﹐膳食和服務都一流。當我在凌晨五時到達紐西蘭時居然毫無倦意﹐我是當天第一個落機和清關的外藉旅客。不幸地獲選中接受全面的海關檢查﹐即是將我三件隨身行李全部開箱。我旅行這麼多年都是第一次讓海關如此徹底的檢查﹐足足花了不是開玩笑的一個小時。不過檢查我那位老女仕倒相當客氣﹐不斷說希望我原諒紐西有如此嚴苛的海關檢查。反正我時間又不趕� ...
