Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia. Bratislava is in the south-west of Slovakia on both banks of the Danube River. Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital that borders two other countries.

... at the back of my mind for years. So now is the chance. The Danube cycle way is mostly off road on dedicated cycle paths, and the Danube itself passes through eight countries. That is a lot of new experiences, and 2500-3000 km to get really fit on!
