Rustdag !
Vandaag eigenlijk niet veel gedaan (het is hier nu ongeveer 14u) maar het regent hier al de hele dag. Deze ochtend een uurtje of 2 gaan wandelen maar was natuurlijk volledig al doorweekt na 10min.
En je kan hier eigenlijk niks anders doen dan buiten wandelen dus RUSTDAG !

... wat prijzig : meloen 10€ , 10 aardbeien 6€ , 4 peren 4€,...maar heb me ook eens laten gaan en een prijzig doosje kirikaasjes gekocht !
De omgeving kan je hier best wat vergelijken met een dorpje uit de Ardennen. Wat ik morgen ga doen weet ik nog niet maar we zien wel ...
Mt. Fuji
... time we saw the peak when we first arrived we couldn't believe the size of it...we managed to get a few pics of the old gal but nothing that quite does it justice. When the sun did come out the scenery looked amazing especially with all of the autumn colours We really enjoyed our trip out, it was great to get away from the city, beautiful scenery and a good way to wear ourselves out for the overnight bus journey that evening to ...

... wind. Mark was wearing shorts. Will be zero at the Mt? We are now in the bus going there, will see.
Arrived at Mt Fuji, the 5th step (total of 9 steps). very foggy, windy and cold. Sooo foggy that the top of the Mt was fully covered. So we walked around in the shops, the food was good though, corn and Mt Fuji cake (must try).
Taxi heading for onzen now, FujiYama Onzen. About 1000¥ taxi from the train station. The price for this Onzen (1800¥) ...
Mt Fuji Trip Report
... watch! The coolest thing that happened was I posed with one of the SOTM 2012 banners that I won at auction a couple of days before when the conference finished. Heaps of conference attendees liked it on the FB group so that was nice to share with everyone.
