The final thing to look at is the gardens outside, and also a section of wall which can be climbed and gives a nice view. The gardens contain a lot of cherry trees, so I imagine it must look lovely in the spring, but there were enough maple and Ginko trees to take some nice photos.

Lähdimme laskeutumaan takaisin kohti majoitusta ja miettimään ruokapuolta, onneksi aikasemmin lounaaksi ostamamme einekset odottivat ottajaansa, nautimme ne illalliseksi ja lähdimme Ponto-cholle etsimään mäyrälle omistettua pyhättöä, mutta sitä ei löydetty, kenties se lukitaan ovien taakse illan tultua. Kävimme vielä Gionin alueella olevassa izakayassa nauttimassa iltapalaa ja palasimme hostellille.
