A Walk Through Nagai Park

The ladies were sure that I looked like a Samurai, a Shogun no less, though I would have loved to have had black hair long enough to be styled into a top-knot, and a long samurai sword hanging on my back or buckled at my hip.

... from west Japan before he returned to the east so he spent the first two days showing me Osaka which was a godsend as it was all a little confusing to start with and there aren't as many English signs as I would have liked so it was great to have someone who could speak Japanese and explain how everything worked, starting with the subway network.
