Today we woke up around 8 to catch a train to the beach in Fukui. I believe it's called sunset beach or something like that. It was one of the first small towns we've been to. The streets were nearly deserted as we wandered westward between the crowded houses. Today's blog is dedicated to Chisato Moritaka, a cute Japanese idol pop singer from the 1990's who had a song about rocking around Japan where she sings about every prefecture and their Capitol in a list form from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Sure, it is a silly song but it was a good way to learn about all the prefectures in Japan.

I was a Rotary Exchange Student for a year in 1985 and during that time attended Hokuriku Senior High School in Fukui, Japan. Visiting this time with the boys I found that there were still a number of teachers who were there in 1985 and who remembered me! I also met up with Aoki Ryota, a student in my class at that time who is now an English teacher in the Hokuriku Junior High School.

Estoy enel instituto, en clase, me han dejado un ordenador portatil para que haga lo que yo quiera porque no me entero de nada de lo que estan dando... pero con el fireware que tiene, no puedo meterme en nada, conseguir hacer esta entrada para el blog ha sido toda una aventura.... asi que cuando me dan el ordenador pongo cara de "oh gracias, gracias a ti no me voy a aburrir en clase de lengua japonesa" y pienso "oh ...
