... of the day was the hike we took up to the Shiroyama Viewpoint. It was a bit of a challenging climb especially for 2 people who's diets have consisted of an assortment of super fatty beef and fatty tuna for the last few days. We started the day checking out the Kenroku-en Garden which is the city's main attrraction. It is very beautiful and lush and voted one of the official top three gardens in Japan. The day started ominously with a late night toilet break only to find the bedroom door jammed shut. After a lot of rattling, and waking Aiden (he thought I was part of some weird nightmare) to doublecheck I wasn't being a complete numpty I had to call reception to get as out.
