    ... things, Linda bought a gorgeous necklace. I bought more jade in the form of a bracelet. Tired from shopping, we all returned home to relax, do laundry, iron, and read.
    Tonight, we're going to Sam Choy's for dinner, and then finish packing, which I already did this morning.
    Linda and I will leave about 7:30 AM while the others will leave around 11:00. ...

    5.We entered the Hawaii National Volcanic Rock Park. We saw the steam vents and walked through a volcanic tube.

    6. We stopped at what we think was Hilo's China Town. We ate hamburgers at a Chinese place.

    7. Then we drove all the way back to our home arriving at 5:41.

    The trip had its entertaining moments and also long passages of roadway.

    ... short visit. Hiroko presented us with some beautiful gifts. A large scroll of her calligraphy and some smaller pieces of calligraphy as well as a poster of one of Tadashi's famous paintings and a limited edition silkscreen. After lunch, we visited Miyo at the care facility where she has been staying for a few days. She was placed here to be cared for since it allowed both Heichi and Misako to accompany us on the road trip. Miyo looked frail and ...
