    By this point, Kyoto's Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom, and they really are wonderful. It's easy to see why they're such an event each year as the country is totally transformed.

    There were so many people out and about in kimonos, especially in Gion, and we even saw a bride and groom getting their wedding ...

    I have left my love "China" and am heading back to the States. I was in China for thee years! I will miss is there. However I get to stop by and say hello to my good friends Megan and Nick. They used to live and work in China with me. It is so good to see them!
    They live in Gifu (Guh - ee - Foo) city Japan. It is a beautiful place! I love it. ...

    ... meters in either direction but the steep incline we took to reach the top would have been challenging to anyone trying to assault this castle! Unfortunately the castle itself had been rebuilt after earthquake and destruction from WWII but the museum housed in the new construction was a fascinating look into the samurai age (and a reminder of how much taller the human race has become over all...the suits of armor were tiny!).
