    ... a cousin of the Ohashis. (Her mother and Miyo are sisters). Hiroko's mother is 98 years old, Miyo is 92. They are both still alive, being cared for in care homes. Hiroko's husband Tadashi (age 80) who is a well-known artist was also there. Hiroko speaks very good English as she majored in English when she went to university.     ... called Tamura. We paid our respects at the shrine then walked along a nice trail that wound to the top of the mountain. From here we had a good view of the hops fields and rice fields below as well as Nagahama City in the distance.
