Wyndham By Name Only. Needs Updating A review of Sheraton Arlington Hotel

We stayed at the Arlington Wyndham DFW 5/27 - 5/29 since we were coming into town to see the White Sox play the Rangers at the ball park right next door. As far as location, if you are going for a baseball game it can not be beat. That is what warranted the 2 star rating. It is a short 5 min. walk to the ball park & very convenient. However, the hotel is old & tired. The room itself was comfortable but the bathroom was in dire need of repair. Multiple ceiling tiles were just dangling & the mirror was covered in stains from where the mirror portion of the glass was completely worn away. The tub had a big chip out of it & was badly stained. There was a big hole in the wall where the shower head was mounted due to the wall face plate had broken away from the wall & was just being held on by the shower head. Do not get me wrong, the room was adequate & there was plenty of hot water but not what we were expecting from a Wyndham. The entire hotel is old & tired looking & in desperate need of updating & repair. The wallpaper in the hallways was blistering off the walls & the carpet was worn & starting to peel up. Now if you are going to a ball game & just looking for a convenient short walk to the ball park with 2 star accommodations, this is the hotel for you. If you are looking for a nicer updated hotel you will need to look elsewhere.
