Would not choose this B&B again A review of Magnolia Mansion
The B&B was hosting a wedding reception on one of the three nights we stayed there; however, we not informed until we saw the catering staff. My husband was not feeling well and we wanted to stay in our room and order supper in but we were told we could not order in due to the reception. To top the evening off, we had to listen to the very loud DJ with pounding bass until 11pm.I found it comical (days later) that we had to sign off on a list of rules for the house while management showed no consideration for their guests and informing us of an event at the mansion. Other than the reception evening, we found the mansion a bit too quite and we felt we had to walk on egg shells. We were very disappointed with our stay here.
It is sad and unfortunate that her husband became ill on their last night, a Saturday night when a wedding was taking place downstairs. Magnolia Mansion is normally so peaceful and quite that guests sometimes feel they are the only ones in the house. I am glad that they were able to experience the serenity on their first two nights. I sincerely apologize that their last night left such a negative memory of their stay.
