Worth the money, but its bargain basement. A review of Seton Hotel
I stayed here at the beginning of March, 2005. Its a very old place and looks it. The office manager gave me the key and said go up to the room, then come back to fill in the paperwork. The elevator is small, but I can guarantee you I've seen smaller elevators in old buildings. The room door has only one lock, and offers minimum security so I left no valuables when I went out. In my room the floor was linoleum, no carpet. There was a single light bulb in a socket above the sink, plus a room light. The TV electric cord was plugged into an outlet in the light socket and just dangled there. Cable TV worked fine, no remote. I didn't use the small refrigerator. I showered late at night in the communal shower down the hall which was clean except for some water on the floor near the shower.
My room was cleaned daily and had fresh towels. The cleaning guy uses some type of deodorizer in the room which was rather strong. The place is old but clean. If you plan on spending little time in the room except to shower and sleep its worth the low rate.
