Worst front desk service I've experienced. A review of Esturion Hotel & Lodge
My husband and I stayed at the Esturion Hotel during a recent trip to Iguazu Falls. We could not believe how inept and unresponsive the hotel staff was. No matter what topic or issue we brought up, they were either unable or unwilling to provide assistance. For example, the day before we were leaving we asked the desk if they could arrange for a shuttle to take us to the airport. They said we had to call a company ourselves. I asked if they could give me a name and phone number and the desk clerk replied I could call any of the local companies. I was somewhat taken back and tried a few more times to get more information but finally decided to give up before I jumped over the desk to throttle the man. A little while later, I returned to the desk and asked to speak to the manager. They called the clerk I had been speaking with before. I told him I wanted the hotel to call a shuttle for us. For some reason, he agreed and made the arrangements I had asked for in the first place. It was this way with every bit of help and information we requested. And none of the people behind the desk wore name plates - a practice I find unprofessional.
