Wonderful inn and great innkeepers A review of Kingsleigh Inn 1904

We stayed at the Kingleigh for six nights in July 2005. The inn is wonderful, the innkeepers (Dana and Greg) are great. The breakfasts (in the dining room or on the porch) are delicious, and the photos on the web site are accurate for once. The Inn is a great place to relax and read (no TV or phone), or to use as a base for excursions to Acadia National Park and surrounding areas. Dana and Greg can help you sort through the many choices you have for activities and dining, and are a great source of local information (in addition to being a lot of fun). Southwest Harbor is a nice little town -- big enough to have good restaurants and shops, but removed from all the craziness a few miles away at Bar Harbor. We highly recommend a stay at the Kingsleigh. Ask for a room on the back side if you want the most peace and quiet. And tell Dana and Greg that the "NC Troublemakers" recommended the inn.
