Wonderful hosts in a wonderful home A review of Number 11 Exclusive Guesthouse
We stayed here for two nights. The house is beautiful but the hosts are even better. Annie is a natural - a warm and friendly person. Helpful for info, knows what people would like to have in a B&B, welcoming but respectful of privacy.
All the comments we read here before we left are true so I won't repeat a lot of what has already been said.
The house is located in a great place - near but not too near the center. The wisteria were in riotous bloom so when we came in or out, there were often other tourists admiring the front of the house. It was a nice base for exploring, and you can pop in to warm up, put your feet up for a little rest, get some coffee or tea, make a call, or use the toilet.
We were in the top floor grey/white room and it was quiet. Nothing has been skimped on. Pillows were soft and comfy and fixtures very nice. Clean and airy. I liked having a phone in our room so we could check in on our son who was with my sister, and make touring plans with a Brugge-based company for Flanders Field.
Breakfast was superb.
I don't know why people stay in hotels when you can have B&B's like this.
Brugge is a wonderful place too, especially for a nice getaway like we had (our 10th anniversary). Nice place to walk around and get lost together.
