Wonderful experience A review of Pali Ke Kua
We have stayed at Pali Ke Kua 3 times over the past 7 years. The condos are well-kept and the location is scenic and quiet. The service has always been polite and efficient. There is a restaurant on the grounds and a private beach which is accessible by walking down a paved path. I recently read that the beach access may be closed. Pali Ke Kua is a very short walk from the Princeville Resort. We make it a point to have the Friday night seafood buffet or Sunday brunch there. Pricey, but excellent. We stayed in 3 different condos at Pali Ke Kua. Our favorite offers spectacular views of Bali Hai as well as the mountains. Sitting on the lanai in the morning watching the waterfalls in the distance is great. On our last trip we had a garden view, which was fine, but we'll make sure to request oceanfront again. The complex is on a cliff, so the view of the sunset is breathtaking.
The north shore of Kauai is our preference over the sunny and hot south side. If you don't mind the short tropical rainshowers, the resulting vegetation is gorgeous. The grocery store and restaurants are a short drive, as well as the trailhead for the Na Pali coast hikes. We are looking forward to our next visit.
