What a Find! A review of Le Parc Suite Hotel
What a find . . . This terrific hotel is tucked away on a residential street, just a block from great restaurants and close by to the night life on Sunset Blvd., including House of Blues, which was one of our destinations. It was also 15 minutes to the Staple Center, another place that we went to for a concert. Hidden on a tree-lined steet, we drove right past it before we discovered that THIS was our hotel -- which turned out to be our home away from home. The staff, from the bellmen, to the front desk clerks, to the maids, who came to make up our room twice each day, were skilled in customer service -- you can tell that these were special people and that management spent lots of time training them. And the rooms -- we had a king suite, with a kitchenette, "step down" living room with a working fireplace, and a king size bed and brand new bathrooms with robes, slippers and classy lotions and potions! Two TV's, a DVD player and a balcony. We're told that all rooms have these amentities -- that's great. The pool on the roof is very classy and, even though we don't play, there was a tennis court up there too. Finally, the restaurant was terrific -- we had lobster tails one night and lamb chops the next. If you come to L.A.
make Le Parc the place to stay! You can't beat it.
