What a enchanting peaceful retreat! A review of Holiday Inn Highland Beach-Oceanside
We stayed at this hotel for four nights in early December 2003. After thoroughly reading all the guides, good and bad reviews of many places on trip advisor, we chose this hotel and drove there from the airport with trepidation, heart in mouth...was it gonna be as advertised? Well, we scored a coup...the beauty of its location is astonishing....it's in a quiet area of Highland Beach, the toniest part of Boca Raton, and just as advertised it is RIGHT on a stunning, powdery white beach. We awoke to beautiful sunrises over the ocean with the palms outside swaying gently in the breeze. Couldn't believe it was only $129 a night for such a gorgeous place among prime real estate. The room was clean and very comfortable with a lovely balcony for enjoying morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The beach itself was quiet and never crowded; the pool delightful, the exercise room a great boon. The restaurant Lattitudes was outstanding; food and service rivalled the best of Fodor's and Frommer's. The Tikki Bar was great for lunch, too. The staff was extremely kind. We can't wait to return.
