What a dump A review of The Westin Indianapolis
I selected The Westin Indianapolis based on the description and photographs available on their web site. When I arrived, I was given a suite that was far inferior to those that I have obtained for a fraction of the cost from such chains as Wyndham, Hilton, and even the low cost Comfort Suites. The furniture was ragged and dirty. The carpet needed to be professionally cleaned or at least more thoroughly vacuumed. The curtains and walls were stained. There were dirty fingerprints on the doors. The bathroom floor was dirty and cracked. The tub floor was so filthy that it had turned black. The entire suite had an unpleasant odor. All in all, the suite bore absolutely no resemblance to the extremely misleading photographs on their web site. I immediately returned to the front desk, turned in my key, and left. My plans for a stay at accommodation claiming to be "heavenly" were ruined. To add insult to injury, I had to pay $5.00 for the 40 minutes that I was parked during my brief, unpleasant stay. I will not repeat my mistake by choosing Starwood accommodations in the future.
