Westin Santa Clara: Nice property A review of Hyatt Regency Santa Clara

I'm in my room at the Westin as I write this review. This property is very nice: remodeled rooms, Heavenly bed and bath, nice grounds. Staff members are also very friendly and professional. What I really like are the beds and the bathrooms. True to the Westin signature the Heavenly bed and bathrooms are truly comfortable and welcome. This is my second stay at this property and each time the bedding looks like new.

Everything about the Heavenly bed is white and not a speck of dirt is on the sheets or bedspread. I can tell they have been changed after each guest departs. The bathroom has nice marble floors and granite countertop with modern hardware. The only drawbacks I noted are the compact room and bathroom size for the standard double/double room.

Otherwise, everything about the room & bathroom is excellent-well-maintained. They even offer Showtime in addition to the regular cable channels. I know that other chains don't even offer Showtime, just HBO which is an extra charge. We ate at the bar where you can order sandwiches and other items such as fish & chips.

Everything was fresh and tasty. The pool area is small but attractive.

And the hotel is connected to the Santa Clara Convention Center making it an easy walk without having to go outside. All in all, this hotel is good value.
