We recommend it (with some reservations) A review of Lake Quinault Lodge
We recently stayed at the lodge. It location is STUNNING . It on the shore of a glacier feed lake and in one of the remaining temperate rain forest left in the USA. The surroundings more than make up for the sub-par rooms and noise of the lodge.
The lobby is welcoming with comfortable and inviting furniture. The rooms are small "rustic" and noisy. We had to switch rooms one night due to the location of the room over the pool and under a staircase. The second night we were located over the kitchen and heard the coming and going of employees.
The dining room and food were adequate (but pricey), but its hard to beat watching a sunset on Lake Quinalut with a cold beer, a warm sweater, and the one you love.
If you go, pay extra for a lake front room or do not stay in the lodge.
