We'd go back in a heartbeat! A review of Miss Sophie's
We were meeting family in Prague for a couple of days, and wanted someplace clean, safe, reasonably priced. We were most pleased. Accomodations seem newly updated, beds comfortable, baths new and clean. There is a kitchenette in the basement, a security camera monitors your entry (attendant beeps you in). There is Internet access in the lobby-two workstations. It is close to IP Pavlova subway station and a reasonable hike to Wenceslaus square. There is no TV, and the rooms seem a little bare. We didn't mind. We are not kids; I just turned 60.
The best part about Miss Sophie's might be the staff. They speak English and are most friendly and helpful. Vlady is a superstar. The price was about $75 a night for a double. They don't take credit cards, but will take payment in Koruna or Euros.
