We could have written the same as reviewer from OH A review of Jupiter Beach Resort

Aug, 2004

We also had wished that we avoided Jupiter Beach Resort. We received a call from JBR 2 days before we were to check in. We were told that the call was to "confirm our reservation" and to inform us that they were "under renovations like their website stated". We did not notice any announcements of renovations on their website when we booked.

The room was ok but we were woken each morning before dawn with noise from the construction crew.

The last morning before we left I actually called the desk to inform them that the trucks in the parking lot were making so much noise that we could not sleep. Let me just say that it was not 11am or any 'reasonable' hour...this was before dawn and I actually had to speak to someone on the front desk 'night shift' about the matter. I was told that the manager would be notified when they arrived. We never heard from the manager. When we checked out a few hours later the manager was 'too busy' to talk to us.

When we showed up the place looked like accommodations in Beirut. The construction workers were like 'reveille before dawn'.

If you stay at JBR PLEASE don't have any concerns that need to be addressed by the managment because they will be 'busy' I'm sure.
