Washington, dc A review of The Jefferson Hotel
Room was as large as my first apartment. Very clean, excellent furnishings. Slight musty smell but probably due to the heavy rains for the last few months.
Restaurant was very good for dinner and even better for breakfast. The bellstaff were just awesome. Despite the stern warning by the overly condescending and pompous nose-in-the-air front desk person who checked me in about the dress code at Lemaire, the 5 star restaurant, they were seating people in shorts and polo shirts. The excuse was some guests at the hotel couldn't have desert and drinks in TJ's because of a large and loud highschool prom. Oops on me for believing the rude front desk person.
If it weren't for the front desk person, I would have rated this hotel excellent instead of above average. First impressions do count.
