Waiting for cruise A review of Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle Downtown
The Hotel was north of downton Seattle but well located for the tower and museum. Next to Bill Gates centre. Large well stocked 24hr supermarket with plenty of fruit, cooked meats, pizza, and other things. Mono-rail shuttle to centre $2.50 each way or $1 for seniors - there non stop in 5 minutes. The Inn is deceptive from the outside but looks after you well, good rooms, free breakfast and computer centre/wi-fi. Spoilt by noisy asian neighbours - no fault of the hotel just an unfortunate spin off when travelling these days - Chinese, Japanese, Koreans these days are often noisy, ignorant both young and old. These were banging about until early hours but as I was doing laundry before boarding. $1wash $1dry. it didn't bother me too much My wife however had disturbed sleep from their banging and complained - we were transferred to a suite. This was fantastic with seperate diner/lounge and full kitchen would book into one of these again. Overall good experience at the Hotel - good value and in the top of the places we have stayed at during this two month trip.
