View from Glass Windows A review of Pink Sands
Each of the cottages has a name - ours was Glass Windows. And it provided a spectacular view of the east. The sunrises were spectacular.
The accomodations were beautiful and quaint. Large and airy - subtle elegance. When we arrived at the front gate, which is very understated, we were greeted and escorted into the lobby. Check-in was simple and while our bags were placed in out cottage, we were escorted to the Blue Bar for lunch. Everyone treated us very personally, yet they left us alone when it was appropriate. The food was wonderful, and Chef always had something special on the menu. The wines were pricy, but not surprising considering the location. However, the selection was a pleasant surprise. The beach was quiet, uncrowded and talcum soft. The water was warm and soothing. So many little touches that together made it a special vacation. It must be epxerienced.
