As a member of the Marriott Points Club, I have stayed at many Courtyard hotels. This was by far the worst. Our room had indications of not being clean...(toilet still very dirty, etc....) I called down to the desk and asked for housekeeping to come up please. About 2 hours later no response. I went to the desk in person and the desk person relayed a message from the H/K supervisor that the room had already been cleaned. No one had bothered to get back to me though. When i told her i would like for them to take a look at it, she offered me another room, which i accepted. As i was loading my luggage onto the cart to move up 2 floors the H/K supervisor came by. Hands on hips and with a bit of attitude she asked me and i quote "So what all do you think is wrong with the room?" I told her and she said that was ridiculous and walked away. Apparently cutomer service isn't taught at Marriott to be a priority, a fact I mulled as i struggled with the cart full of luggage with no help from staff. I am giving up my Points membership and joining the Sheraton Family or another one.
