Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended. A review of The Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City

Stayed for one night at the end of March, 2007 and was very pleased. Although the price would be considered on the high end by Oklahoma City standards, it is reasonable when compared to most upscale urban hotels in other cities.

We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and I would rate our meals as excellent. Since the main dining room was full, we sat in the bar area, but had access to the full menu. I usually prefer eating in the bar area anyway as the service is sometimes quicker. We had outstanding service from our bartender.

We requsted room service breakfast delivered fairly early and it came on schedule and was correct.

The hotel has an indoor pool, which suprised me for an older building, but it is very small and only takes two or three people to fill it up. It's good for kids to play in, but don't expect to swim any laps. The workout area next to the pool is pretty nice however.

Everything in the hotel was new and spotless as it had only been open a month or so. I love staying in an old hotel that has all new furnishings.
