Stayed here May 10 through 12 while hiking at Capitol Reef National Park. Very nice and our only compaint was that on the first morning there was no hot water - warm but not hot. The motel was full and apparently everyone wanted to take a shower in the AM - so if it's full, get up early to take your shower. The general store was great - especially the deli where you can get great sandwiches to take with you on a hike or where ever. Other places were available - cabins across the road advertised for around $30 per night - don't know how they would be but certainly cheaper and looked ok from the outside.

Capitol Reef is a jewel for day hikes. Particulatly enjoyed the Navajo Knobs and Cassidy Arch trails. Not crowded and, for us Easterners (from SC), very different and unique country. The waterpocket fold is a wonder to behold.
