Very nice A review of Marriott's Timber Lodge
We stayed for 3 days in a two room unit. The bedroom was small due to a large jacuzzi tub, but the bathroon, living/dining room were very comfortable and the kitchen large and well stocked. The small clothes washer/dryer was very handy. The room was too hot even at the end of November and we wound up having to crack the windows to cool things down since turning off the thermostat had no effect.
For such a large (935 sq ft), two room suite unit with comfortable, attractive decor, we weren't unhappy with the $140 price tag - after all, a standard, one room hotel room in one of the casinos or other better hotels can easily run $100. The $14 valet parking per day - your only option - seemed a bit high, but it does include in and out privileges. Concierge service was hard to contact from the room, but when they finally did return our call, they were friendly and helpful.
No room service here, and very little in the way of restaurant food within easy walking distance except the casinos. Heavenly's gondola is just out the door from the reception area. The worst thing about the place are the VERY long, maze-like hallways - you don't want to make the mistake of getting to your car and realizing you've left something back in the room!
