Very nice classy, historical hotel. A review of Hilton Fort Worth
We just stayed at this hotel last week when visiting family. After hearing all the bad reviews, I was a bit nervous about staying here. This was my first trip to a Radisson, and I signed up for the "Gold Rewards" and booked their "Hot Deal" for $75 bucks a night. We arrived at the hotel; checking in took all of 3 minutes max. We got a free upgrade to the 14th floor which has upgraded rooms in the main tower. We got off the elevator and there was a 14th-floor lobby with a staircase that climbed to the 15th and top floor. This was the floor where I'm told John F. Kennedy stayed the night before his asassination. Our room was GREAT. A little older, but VERY VERY clean and practical. It is inches from the Convention Center, and a couple blocks from downtown Fort Worth nightlife and shopping. Bars are open until 2AM and there is a place to go for each night of the week. The pool is in the adjacent tower. It is a diving pool with plenty of chairs around it. There are two fitness centers, one of them with pool view. They have older equipment; bike, treadmills, free weights, and a couple benches. There's a mexican restaurant inside the hotel, Cactus Bar and Grill. Good food, better margaritas. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again. Don't let the bad reviews fool you.
