Very Impressed with the Westin A review of Westin St. Louis

We stayed at the Westin St. Louis July 4 - 6, 2003 for $219/night. The

hotel is very clean and modern and the rooms are very nice. Be aware

that there are no Arch view rooms (stadium blocks your view). No

swimming pool either. There is a MetroLink station right outside the

hotel which is great for getting around town reasonably ($4 all day

passes). Self Parking is across the street and costs $14/day. We stayed

in one of the Club Level rooms (extra $50/day) which allowed you to use

a concierge suite. I had to call twice to figure out when breakfast and

evening cocktails were served. It would be nice if they provided a

flyer with this information or educated their staff to be able to

inform guests. FYI, Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.,

Evening Cocktails and snacks from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. I would definitely

recommend this hotel. Just be aware that it is a little expensive but

you get what you pay for.
