Very hard to sleep here A review of Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort
My son and I stayed there this last Wednesday night, May 5th. The hotel is new and clean, and the pool will keep any kid occupied with the slide and lazy river type addition to the pool. My problem was the room was so light at night, I could not sleep. They do not dim the hall lights, and have a blind, with 1/2 of curtains. I called the front desk to inquire, and was told to hang up a blanket or something. Having just had knee surgery, I was not climbing on the furniture, so it was a very unrestful night. When I told the front desk, I got a less than sincere "I'm sorry". I paid over $110.00 dollars to get an " I'm sorry". I felt horrible, as anyone does when you do not sleep.The front desk said they heard of this complaint before, and will adress it at the next meeting. Their lack of not making it right, either by a coupon for another visit at a discounted stay, or a partial refund left me with the feeling of never going back, and telling everyone what you are reading.
